A view of The Swannery and Westham Bridge in the late 1930s, this card was posted in August 1939 as the second World War approached.

The Bridge itself has changed very little down the years although it is now used as a car park.

To the right is the Health centre and to the left are the chimneys of the Power Station in Stavordale Road.

This part of Weymouth has changed dramatically in the last twenty years.
