The Swannery Circa - Early 1930

Here we see the reclaimed land that eventually housed the greenhouses for Weymouth Corporation's Parks & Gardens Dept. and the roof of the Pavilion which overlooked the Tennis Courts is just visible.

Today this a Car Park, the Goods Shed in the middle Background is where MacDonalds and the large Retail Warehouses are now.
McCarthy & Stone have their block of flats in front of the last terrace of houses..
