I wonder if the photographer of this scene paid either the gent in the white suit or the little boy to pose for this him.

A good picture of the original railway bridge carrying the Portland Railway line over the backwater

The original clearly shows the carriage sidings of Weymouth Station and the buildings of Cassiobury Road together with the building which was the Convent of the Sacred Heart.
