Sands with Punch & Judy Show circa 1905

This is the earliest view in my collection with the Punch & Judy Show booth visible.

Just behind the booth can be seen the handcart, presumably used to bring the booth to the sands.

It would appear to be considerably closer to the high water mark than today.

In the distance is a crowd approximately where the Salvation army had it's pitch.
