Weymouth in old postcards and photographs

The Jubilee Clock 1930s

Two Views of Weymouth at its most popular. Just look at the people on the sands!

The Beach Saloons still in use and even with so little traffic there is still a policeman on duty at the top of King Street.

The sands are packed the paddlers are enjoying the safe shallows and the Promenade is crowded with strollers.

The Policeman on Traffic duty does not appear to have any major problems.

The couple in the motorcycle and sidecar will have no trouble in pulling out into the traffic, not a manouvre you would like to attempt these days.
