These Chalets were always popular, many local people used them.


I can recall some very special friendships with the families who occupied the chalet nearest the camera.

The Mine in the bottom right of the picture was used as a collecting tin for a Charity connected with Seamen.

There was another near the Ritz/Pavilion on the Promenade.
