Lodmoor Glidaboat Lake

These are great pictures, I was not aware that such a lake existed at Lodmoor. I assume the boats are low powered electric or petrol but would welcome any information.

The lake appears to be quite close to the road and I think it was located approximately where the Aquarium is today.

Quite a crowd looking on or awaiting their turn.

The Gent sporting the trilby in the right hand picture also has his pipe firmly clenched between his teeth!!
