Weymouth In Old Postcards and Photographs

Clark Endicott Memorial Circa late 1940s

The memorial is erected to commemorate John Endicott who sailed from Weymouth to found the colony of Massachusetts
in the New World and Captain Richard Clark, a Weymouth man, who sailed with Humphrey Gilbert to Newfoundland as captain of 'The Delight'.

This memorial has since been moved to The Alexandra Gardens.
