This is a wonderful picture of the Bathing Machines taken sometime in the early 1900s. Unfortunately the scan does not do justice to the detail visible in the original. Such a pity that only one of these machines was to survive. There would appear to
be a Yacht Race in progress further out in the Bay. Will it look as
spectacular in 2012? |
