Royal Terrace is still undeveloped and the Esplanade is totally traffic free.

At the top of the picture the rooves of Betts Timber yard are clear and to their right is the ppond where timber was floated.

Melcombe Regis school can also be seen top left so we know this picture is post 1911 and most probably 1912.

I wonder if this was taken on the same flight as the picture includes the Alexandra Gardens
