A view of Brunswick Terrace and the beach huts rented out by Damers. In the winter the huts were stored in a warehouse in Walpole St. on the corner of Hardwick St. The floats we can see were two canoe-like hulls linked by 3 boards which were very easily paddled. This shingle area of the beach was always much favoured by local people. |
